Deadlines
Deadlines are rather important when you are raising money to go spread the gospel in other countries. I like to think that people aren’t just giving me money, but that they are investing in the life of someone who IS CHANGING THE WORLD. I say “is” because right now I’m currently influencing children, teens, and young adults by just telling them about my desire for Christ and sharing with them the journey I will embark on next year. I know to some people it may feel as if I’m begging for money, and by no means do I ever want anyone to feel as if that’s what I’m doing. I understand there will be a number of people who will not support this journey and that is ok. I have come to terms with that. However, there will be a number of people who will support me who I don’t even know. God will make that blessing happen.
About a week or two ago I get on “desktop” facebook and notice I have a message in my other tab. Normally I get spam. This time I got….Greetings Brittine! I am not only inspired by your decision to be a part of the 11 country in 11 months mission trip but I am praying for you and the team. I pray that the video reaches an audience of over 1,000 online viewer who will likewise be inspired and pricked in their hearts to give a minimum of $10.00 in addition to praying for you and the Adventures in Missions team. My prayer is that one million folk donate $1.00 of sponsorship; 1,000 donate $10.00; and so on and so forth. Blessings to you! Though this isn’t the entire message it still speaks volumes. An anonymous donator gave me the greatest gift anyone could give me at that time: encouragement and hope. She doesn’t know how much her message blessed me or even that I needed to receive it when I did. It was like God was talking to me through her. (Keep that in mind.)

$13,000 is due on 4/01/15
$16,500 is due on 6/20/15
Countries
Seeing as I am leaving in January instead of September that means a lot of things are about to change. One of the biggest things that are changing are the countries that I will be attending come January. Instead of Haiti, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Though I absolutely loved that route that’s not Gods plan for me. So my new countries that I’ll be serving in are:

Costa Rica
Nicaragua
Guatemala
Thailand
Malaysia
Philippines
Swaziland
Botswana
South Africa
I’m excited for the countries that didn’t change and for some of the new ones I received.
