Who thinks life is easy? Has every decision you ever made worked out for you? Have you been living a miraculous life all of your days? Do you even remember the last time you needed to cry out to God??
If your answer is YES to all of these questions then this may not be the blog post for you.
This post is for those people who spend nights on end crying out to God. Those people who are trying to decipher how God can use the poor decisions they made in the past for the greater good. Those people who haven’t had an easy life. Those people who may be worried and/or scarred to allow God to have full and utter control of their life.
Living life in general is not easy. I’ve been through so much during my short course of life! I don’t understand what God’s plan is for my life and trust me I don’t always agree with where He may be calling me or how uncomfortable He may be making me.
Sometimes I just want to stop and cry all of my frustrations and worries out! Just cry till I can’t cry anymore. Then I hear that voice. “Don’t worry. I’ve got everything under control.”
Thing Is:
You and I belong to God! Period. Point Blank
Galatians 2:20 (ESV) states “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Our lives are not our own. As God’s people we shouldn’t be walking around living life for ourselves. Christ lives in each and everyone of us. Therefore we have the power of God within us!
Though sometimes we may not understand why things happen the way they do, but that isn’t what we’re made to do. Life is a faith walk. It’s about trusting God. Right now I’m on the biggest faith walk of my life. I’m going to spend 11 months in 11 countries that are not familiar to me. i have to live and become friends 40+ that I have never met before and trust that we will all love one another. I have to raise $16,254 in order to go on this mission trip for the Lord. Though I don’t know what is going to happen, I can’t do anything but trust in God.
Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
I don’t know what the Lord has in store for me or for you but I know that he has a plan and purpose for each and everyone of us. Lets learn to trust in the Lord without borders! So I leave you with a song that encourages me!
