Many of you have been asking how my fundraising has been going and how you can specifically be praying for me! I love that you all have been asking! So I thought I’d do a blog post on it!

Well I have currently fundraised $6,300, and I have set a goal to get half way funded by Oct 15th. I am $1,981 away from being halfway funded. I have a little over a month to reach that goal I know I will be able to reach! God has showing up in those moments when I doubt the money will come in and amazes me every time.

I currently have 3 monthly financial partners. I would love to double that to make it 6! It’s as easy as donating just $25 monthly! Please pray about supporting me on a monthly basis. If you have any questions or would like to talk to me about more about what that looks like, please feel free to contact me!

Just a reminder if you do want to donate you can click “Support Me!” on my blog or you can mail checks to:

For those who want to know more about what training camp, here’s what I know so far:

It’s when I get to meet my entire squad, learn how to efficiently pack my backpack (I hope!), train (hiking, running, etc.), and find out my team. I am SO excited to finally meet them! My squad is about 50 people, and my team will be 6-7 people. From what I’ve heard about training camp, we get to do a lot of team bonding, as well as worship together and hear messages that will help equip us spiritually as the World Race gets closer. Honestly, I have these expectations of what I think training camp is going to be like, but I know once I get there it is going to be completely different from what I thought. Either way I know it is going to be awesome!

For those of you who have been supporting me through prayer, here is what I need prayer for:

  • Time management: as my launch day gets closer, my to do list gets longer. Need prayer that my time is spent being productive and not procrastinating.
  • While I am still here, I can still be a light for God. Being a missionary isn’t just overseas, it’s right here in our own backyards.
  • Being intentional with people. It’s very easy to get caught up in all the World Race prep, and when people about it ask I have a lot to talk about regarding the World Race. I also need to ask others how their lives are going and how I can be praying for them.
  • For God to continue to prepare my heart and grow me in areas that I need to grow in before the race.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

As the day is coming closer to launching, I find moments where I am worrying about whether or not I will be able to meet the fundraising goals. This verse speaks so much truth and encourages me to just keep trusting God, and going to him in those times of worry because God’s got this!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOSE HAVE BEEN CONTINUALLY PRAYING FOR ME!

It’s so reassuring to know God has put people in my life that are praying for me as I prepare for this new journey in life.
