So we’re getting ready today to head to our last country, our last month…hard to believe that this year is coming to a close already!
To be honest, I’m kind of over the packing and unpacking thing…I’m sitting here next to everything I own/have carried around the world with me all spread out everywhere…and the thought of shoving it into a space saver pack kind of makes me nauseous. We’re not leaving until this afternoon and a very large part of me would rather just do it last minute so I don’t have to think about leaving…again…and packing…again…and saying goodbye to all of the beautiful people who became a normal part of each day.
Right now the girls are handing out cards and presents thanking us for what we’ve done here…it’s just so hard to say goodbye!
The fortunate thing has been this year, that it’s never the last time we’ll see these people. Some day we’ll be in heaven together, I know how corny and cheesy that sounds, but the more followers I meet around the world the more I know it must be so. That this year has been spent meeting the corporate body of Christ, the Church, the Bride…it’s a beautiful thing really.
Well, I guess I’d better go pack, but I did successfully avoid doing it and I managed to do something mildly productive in the meantime…VICTORY!
Ok, see ya in a month!
Love love!
