Haha, I think in the last three days I have asked myself that question at least 100 times. Like, what the heck am I doing here in a mall in Bucharest, Romania? Last year this time I was probably sitting in a class hoping that the reading I had done the night/morning before would be sufficient for the discussion that would be occurring that day in class. It’s amazing how much changing your surroundings can change your priorities. I just bought a pair of sneakers because they were the cheapest and lightest ones I could find so that my bag wouldn’t be too heavy to carry on my back should I need to walk a long distance in Africa…a couple girls and I took a small shot of de-worming medication before bed last night, just as a precaution…I walked into Sephora and sprayed myself down with perfume since bug spray will be my new perfume for the next three-seven months. God has an interesting way of changing your priorities…I don’t know if I will ever spend more than 1 USD for anything…ok that’s kind of a lie, but in a lot of countries you can get quite a bit for less than $20…it makes it hard to go shopping!!
