So 3 flights, 1 bus ride, a hike to find our hostle, and a
29 hour train ride later we have arrived in Bucharest Romania!! My 6 teammates and I will be living here for
the next month working with Jubilee Ministries (isn’t that funny?!? We are Team
Jubilee working with Jubilee Ministries; DIVINE) we are living in an orphanage here in the
city and our host is so amazing in caring for our team. Along with working with Jubilee we will be
visiting gypsy villages and working with orphaned gypsy kids.   I am so excited to get into ministry here;
it’s going to be great!

So as I said before we just got off a 29 hour train ride
earlier today, it was a doozy . Here are
some pictures from that adventure…

Our close quarters

Jenny, myself, and Tracy about hour 18 🙂

I was waking up from a nap; hot, groggy, and all around
disoriented when Carin from my team came into our cabin and said “A lady just
brought us a bunch of food! There are tomato, apples, cucumber, cheese and
bread!” It was such a blessing!! This
random woman had come in their cabin and just started giving them this food,
she didn’t speak English and none of us speak Ukrainian. She was the sweetest lady, she was older and
had green pants and she has become known as our Angel in the Green Pants J we kept telling her
thank you!! I have been learning about
the abundance that the Lord has for us as His people. An abundance of his presence, and abundance of
His gifts, and even an abundance of veggies and bread! These little reminders that Lord will take
care of us are sweet and they remind us that the Lord has more for us, because
we had food…meat and cheese that had not been refrigerated and bread but this
blessing was just a physical example that there is more that the Father has for
us.

“So if sinful people
know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.” Luke 11:13 (NLT)

I am challenged to go deeper. Brothers and sisters, join me in asking for
more of His presence as we go into ministry, as you go to work or school today,
as we live life; listen for His voice of direction today.
