I’ll praise You in
this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am

Every tear I’ve cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

This past week the team did a fast together and I just
wanted to share a bit of what I learned and what the Lord has revealed
to me
through this week.  At the beginning of the week I was praying about
which
location I need to be at next semester and I had been thinking I might
just let
the leaders decide for me but I sought the Lords guidance.  I was doing
some late night prayer and He brought this verse to my attention:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your
heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men.”

~Colossians 3:23

After reading that I knew Christ wanted me to trust and
have faith that He will put me where I need to be without any of my
help.  So
this week the leaders are very busy dividing us up into three different
groups
that will be going to either Port Elizabeth, Swaziland, or
staying here in Jeffrey’s Bay.

Then over the week I read in Esther where she decides to go
stand up to the king, she simply says “If I parish, I parish.”  Her life
is at stake but she know she must do and she’s sees the urgency of it.
No matter what she just wants to serve
her people.  Then in 2 Samuel when Ahimaaz wants to run to king David
and
give him the news of his sons death, proclaiming “Come what may, I want
to
run!”  No matter what the
news is, good or bad Ahimaaz just wanted to serve his king. I thought
that was beautiful.

No matter what I want to serve my
God.
