Just a quick update and special shout out to all of my friends, family, church family, and anonymous supporters!!!
Greetings from Phuket, Thailand! It’s month 6, so that means I am only days away from the half-way mark of this 11 month spiritual journey. The days seem so very long but the months somehow fly by. So far I have visited 6 countries– Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Malaysia, and Thailand. I have had the opportunity to be involved with door to door ministry, nursing homes, vacation bible schools, teaching english, feeding centers/after school programs, music schools, working with victims of abuse, women enslaved by sex trafficking, and simply showing God’s love by loving the people I am living in community with. Although I often miss the comforts of home, I enjoy living this lifestyle of service. Each month has proven to provide its own celebrations and challenges which is cultivating both spiritual growth and emotional healing. I know that everything I will have experienced at the end of these 11 months will pour over into the lifestyle of ministry that I am called to live in the future. So with that realization, I thank you for your gracious support! God’s goodness, your prayers, and your financial support have allowed me to continue on my World Race mission trip. A trip that has allowed me discover my identity in Christ and what it means to truly surrender to the will of God. Please check out this special Thank You video for highlights of my journey so far:
During the time I have remaining on the field, I request prayers for remaining focused and staying present each month, strength for the days that ministry consumes every ounce of energy, and financial provision in order to meet my final deadline and finish my race. If you know of anyone who has a heart for missions and would like to partner with me in this spiritual journey by supporting me either through prayer and/or financially, please pass this video and my blog address along. My final deadline is just a few weeks away (March 1st), and I am still in need of $4,500. I am firm believer that if He called you to it, He will see you through it.
