As I sit here trying not to get overwhelmed by packing for what feels like the 99th time on this race, I think back to the past 10 months…. Since leaving the U.S. in July, I have been to 12 different countries (1 being in an airport all day, but that counts right?) and many different cities, towns, and villages. With the next two days being ‘travel days’ (La Ceiba- Tegucigalpa, Honduras then the next day to Nicaragua) it will be our last country before leaving The World Race and heading back to the states. It feels weird saying ‘see ya next month America!’ but it’s true.

I am excited to experience another country, culture, and ministry opportunity, but I can’t help but reminisce on this month. I will forever be grateful to our ministry hosts this month who have not only been hosts, but who have been spiritual leaders, friends, advisors, teammates, re-entry coaches, and mentors (just to name a few). I want to thank Travis and Gina (and their 6 year old son Noah) for pouring yourselves out to us and who have guided and walked with us throughout our time here in Honduras. You both have been such a blessing to us and I hope to always remember your kindness and great advice that you have given. And thank you to our awesome translators Jimmy and Jorgè. Things would have been much more difficult as far as speaking goes due to the lack of translation skills. Haha Thank you for your patience and willingness to teach us.

And Thank you to all of my supporters who have helped raise almost $16,000 for this journey! Because of each of your prayers and financial donations, I only need $400 to be fully funded!!! How exciting! This has been a very long journey to get to this point, but your loving words and kind hearts have helped push me to where I am. Please know that each and every single prayer, and each and every single penny have made such an impact on not only my life, but those around me, and those who I have spoken to, loved on, or helped throughout the world. You helped make it possible to go the orphanage in Swaziland to show love to the children. You helped make it possible for me to help pass 4,000 bricks up a mountain in a small village in India where a church is being built for the first time. You helped make it possible to pray in a red light district in Thailand and live at an all girls home where we loved on and taught 40 of the most precious little girls. You helped make it possible to travel to El Salvador where I was not only able to show Jesus to some surfers and a drunk/high Henna artist, but where I re dedicated my life to Christ and was re-baptized on Easter Sunday with almost all of my U Squad family around.

It sometimes might seem like you aren’t changing the world, but it’s little things like that, that will help change the world. No single person here on earth can do it. But together, with faith, prayer, and hard work, we can help change the lives of so many people and change the world that they live in…
