He knows your fears, your likes, and your dislikes. He knows your sinful past. He will try to romance you with his sly words. He creeps into your life if given any slight chance. He will try to become your best friend. Show you how ‘good’ and ‘fun’ life can be with him by your side. He will try and encourage you to do things you know are wrong. He will twist words to make the grey areas sound perfectly fine. He will use his charm and way with words to convince  you.  The only thing is….. He HATES Christians. In fact, he despises Christ and anyone who believes in Him. He will use as much leverage on you as he can. Like I said, he knows your past. So once he has a hold on you, his plan is to destroy you. And he will use whatever means to take you down the hardest. 

   For me, it was to get in my head. To make me believe the lies that he would come up with. I got to the point to where I was NUMB. I was beyond the phase of being sad. I had believed the lies that were tumbling in my head. He had put a wedge between me and God. And stole all of my happiness and joy. He made me question every compliment I was given. He made me think that they were all lies. He had drawn me away from the light, and into his cold, dark, and vacant grasp. I had given up hope. But… Little did I know, Jesus was there the whole time calling my name. I was just so clouded that I didn’t hear Him. I was so  blinded by the lies, that I didn’t see Jesus begging me to grab hold of His hands.  I was so focused on trying to get out of the valley by doing ‘good things’, by reading my bible, going to church, going to the Wednesday nights, that I didn’t hear God telling me that I was forgiven. That I didn’t have to do all of these works. That what i heard  in my head, was lies. He wanted me to hold still in His presence and listen. Listen to Truth.

Matthew 13:19
   “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road” 

    For some, it may be through music. For others, drugs and alcohol. Whatever is your weakness, he will use that against you. He will implant lies into your head. He will tell you that you are worthless, and that you need to do this or that for people to like you. He tells you that you’re not good enough, no matter how hard you try. He tells you that you don’t really have to just believe in Jesus, but that you have to do all of these works. And then when you do all of those works, he tells you that it’s not good enough, and to come to the dark side where it’s more fun. Where you don’t have any rules. Where you can do whatever you want, even if its morally or legally wrong, because its ok, that you’re just having fun and that no one will really notice. And when you get so caught up in it, where you’re way over your head, and where there seems no hope, he will dunk you under. He will hold you under so that you can’t breathe. You will fight him, but you will get tired. You try to find that last little ounce of hope, but he will take and crush your spirit. He will tell you that you are too far deep. That there is no way for you to surface. And even if you do, you have already done this and that, and that you have done too many bad things for anyone to care about you. 

   Right about the time where you are ready to give up all hope. Right at the time when all you can see is how messed up you are, at the time where you feel as if there is no hope, there is a little spark. and that little spark will say that there is hope. That you Can make it out. That little spark is the Holy Spirit. That is Christ in you. He is telling you not to give up. Reach out to Him. Take hold of the hand that is reaching down to you. 

   Jesus is a gentleman. Unlike satan who deceives, Jesus, who also knows your past, your present, and your future, will make you a better person through Him. Even though he knows your worst of sins, He will still speak truth into your life. That you are better than anything you have ever done. That there is nothing in this entire world that you could possibly do to change his love for you. In fact, there is nothing good or bad that you could do to change His level of love for you. Even when you are in that deep valley, or when you’re in that water drowning, with no hope of surfacing, with no possible future in sight, Jesus is there to pull you back up. Even if you have deserted God, and haven’t been walking with Him, He still wants to rescue you. Even if you have done the worst of the worst, Jesus is there to tell you that He forgives you. The sweet things that He will tell you, are true. He will tell you that you Are worth it. He will tell you that you Are worth waiting for. He will tell you that you Are forgiven. And it will be TRUE. 

Galatians 5:22-23a
  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. 
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

   For those of you who are Christians, I pray and beg you to stay as far away from Satan’s  reach. He will try to be your friend, and then tear you down and try to strangle you. 
   For those of you who don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, I beg of you… Stay away from all things sinful. Don’t listen to the lies that he is trying to get you to believe. Your life is NOT worthless. NOTHING that you could possibly ever do, can keep you from being forgiven…. Nothing.    You ARE worth it. You ARE loved. There IS hope for you. Turn to Christ. He will make your life worth it. “You are worthy of being pursued.”
