Before I left on this trip, I prayed that God would show me how to love others with the love of Jesus as I travel around the world throughout lots of different cultures. Then God began teaching me that I first need to love Him, He has to be my one true love before I can share His magnificent love with others.

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.”

John 17:25-26 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the LOVE you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

He also began to show me His love for me more and more and teaching me that I need to let Him love me even if I feel like I don’t deserve it. I see His love for me in a beautiful sunset, pretty flowers, and all His creation; both nature and all the beautiful people around the world.

Christ dying on the cross for all of us proves his incredible love for us. Absolutely nothing can separate us from his love. If we truly believe this there is nothing to be afraid of.

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

If God is for us than who can be against us?

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline.”

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Psalm 23 “The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

God’s loves you. Fear nothing.
