Last Saturday, during English club, the topic was America’s Independence Day.
During one of our activities each small group was given a bag filled with random things including cardboard, an egg carton, streamers, straws, and ribbon and we were told to build a parade float.
On Sunday, the 4th of July, we had a picnic near the beach with everyone from church. My team made some good ol’ fashioned potato salad! (I even ate some and liked it dad and mom) J We also played a few games. We had a 3-legged race, an egg toss, and a frozen t-shirt contest. My favorite part was near the end of the afternoon when we got to make Smores!

We won the frozen t-shirt contest Each group gets a frozen t-shirt and you have to get it undone and one member of the group has to put it on.
