You probably will hear me say this a thousand plus times before I leave for the World Race, I’m so excited! This is something I have on my heart to share with you. I believe when I get back from this journey I will be a different person.

1) I expect to make a difference. Over the past year and a half it’s remarkable how much I have already changed. I’ve completely turned my life around. I’ve been filled up with God’s word and now it’s time to go out a do what He has created me to do. I know that God is going to change me and my perspective on a lot of things. He is going to break my heart, in a good way. He’s going to use my compassion for people to make a difference and set the captives free.

2) I expect to grow. I can’t wait for my relationship with God to go to a whole new level. I will say I am really close with Him now but oh boy, I can just imagine. When I step into my calling and obedience then that’s when He will show up like I’ve never experienced before. I believe that this is going to be a monumental step into my future. I know I am called to be a missionary and to spread the Gospel. This is a big deal to me that He wants to use me and through this adventure my faith will reach new heights.

3) I expect to grow up. Yes, I may be 24, 25 in June but God wants me to hit a whole new level of womanhood. I’ve grown up a lot since I’ve given my life over to Jesus but through this journey He is going to make me rely on Him and Him alone. Nobody can fill that void. Only Jesus can be my true source of dependency. I can’t depend on people anymore, I can’t be the people pleaser I once was. I’m no longer that person. Some people may not agree with the choices I make but God’s word says that we will be persecuted for being a Christian. My faith will NOT be shaken. I will lean on Him in the good times and the hard times. I’m being transformed into the woman He has created me to be!
