During our time in Africa we have met some incredible women. The women here are beautiful, strong, and so full of life. They take everything that comes their way with such grace and determination.
The women here in Africa also break my heart because there is such an extreme dichotomy among them.
In this continent there are…
Women who know their value in Christ.
And women who believe they are unworthy.
Women who have husbands who love them.
And women who share their husband with many other wives.
Women who have a voice.
And women who are beaten down and treated as lower than men.
The majority of women here in Africa are mistreated, abused, used, unloved, disrespected, and uncared for.
But Jesus loves these women.
Jesus died for these women.
There is joy for the women of Africa.
There is hope for the women of Africa.
