You know when you’re reading the Bible and a verse you’ve read a thousand times smacks you upside the head in a whole new way?
I love when that happens!
Sitting during my quiet time today, I had a smack-upside-the-head moment while reading Matthew 6:33 in the Message. The beginning says to “steep your life in God-reality.”
Usually when someone says that they live in reality, the connotation is that they have low expectations, don’t dream big, and see life through pessimistic eyes.
But, God-reality is different.
God-reality is limitless.
God-reality sees the blind with open eyes,
the deaf with hearing ears,
the mute with bold lips,
and the dead full of life.
God-reality blows our wildest dreams out of the water. God-reality is more than we could ask, think, or even imagine.
I desire to steep my life in God-reality.
