So I’ve been back in the states roughly 3 months. With a 2 week missions trip to Egypt in there somewhere and a 2 week stint in Georgia for a WR training camp. Here I am back at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Some of you may wonder just what I’ve been up to. So here goes it: I’ve been living at home with my mom who I love and without her I don’t know what the heck I would do. To say she is supportive of me is a understatement. I’ve been able to see my family my Dad, 2 brothers Trey, Garrett, and my sister Kayleigh. Spending time with them has been such a blessing. God is good. In everything He is good.

I’ve been helping out with the youth group at my church, going to a college age thing on Tuesdays, and church on Sundays. As you can imagine that is not quite what I feel called to do. To just be around. I feel like I have been called to something greater than I could have ever imagined myself. It is God who has put a desire in my heart to learn more, experience more, live more, dream more, DO MORE.

In this next season of my life I feel God has called me to go to a leadership academy you may or may not have heard of called G42. This school is located in Mijas, Spain. Some of you may wonder why Spain? For a few reasons. First of all, many of our interns will be coming from America and we want to get them away from the fast-paced American society with its distractions, materialism, and consumerism. Secondly, we are a global organization-our network is international and we want our leaders to interact with ministries and associates that can only occur in an international setting. Southern Spain will be a central base for ministries across Europe, Africa, and beyond.

I had been struggling with my answer to the big fat question of “what’s next?’ that so many of you were asking. Honestly I did not have an answer until last week when I felt so strongly that the Lord was leading me to this school. I just want to keep you all who keep up with me in the loop for sake of prayer and financial support as well. I know I have been called to live a missionary lifestyle that will for in the foreseeable years mean that I will be living off of support. Good thing God is a big God. I know that when he calls people to do his work He always provides.

I want to thank you all so much about caring for me and the work I have been able to do through God and your support and prayers. G42 costs $6,000 USD and I will also need to raise money for airfare to and from Spain which generally is looking like $600 for a one way ticket there. I will be going for the term that is Jan 2011- June 2011 it is a 6 month commitment. Living, learning, and serving in community. It’s going to be a beautiful thing.
