As some of you know, we have landed in month 8 of the race in Siem Reap, Cambodia! We’re kicking this month off with our second to last debrief before we head home!! That’s crazy guys!! This is the debrief where we come together as an entire squad, alum squad leaders, squad mentor and squad coaches, and even a special guest to talk and encourage each other on how to “finish this race strong.”
Let me say that one more time just in case you missed it…. FINISH strong! Wow! These past 7 months have flown by!! We’ve got only 4 months left and then we will be back in the states and I get to squeeze all my family and friends for daaaaays!!! 🙂
But. God’s still got a whole bunch of crazy radical things planned! He’s got a huge work to do in my heart before I return home, he’s got some relationships to build, some miracles and healings to invite us into, and some beautiful people to send us to! The best is yet to come!
Before we get THERE though, iSquad has a final deadline to meet!
As a squad we still need about $42,000 in order for us to be fully funded and for everyone to continue on the race! As a squad family, we decided that we won’t have anyone go home for something as simple as money! Our God is bigger than that! Because we get to all be together in one place this week, we’ve decided to come together in prayer for a straight 48 hours! We started yesterday at 11am cambodia time and we will finish tomorrow (april 2) at 11am! Every person or a group of people will take at least an hour and pray and worship our God who has got us where we are so far, thanking him in advance for providing the remaining amount, and praising how completely remarkable he is all around!
I’d like to invite you to join iSquad in these 48 hours! I invite you to pray that God will provide in incredible unexpected ways! That he would touch the heart of people back home and invite them into this journey! Also pray that those who do give, that they give with joyful hearts and that what they give is multiplied tenfold, and that they will see fruit from their giving! So whether you would like to block out an hour, or 20 minutes or even a quick little prayer as you finish reading this, whatever that looks like for you, I would love for you to join us during this time!!
