Crazy Beautiful.
Those two simple words is exactly how I would describe our month in Malaysia. From our host family who were direct reflections of God’s joy and hospitality, Michael and Leslie who are two missionaries we got the divine privilege to serve along side this month, that carry a supreme amount of God’s love. The kindergarten that was literally a preview of what heaven will look like, kids from all over the nations that have all different backgrounds, different languages, different cultural beliefs, and different traditions, but I guarantee you, not one of those kids pay any attention to those “differences.” Speaking of differences… we have to continuously remind ourselves and each other that we aren’t allowed to say “God,” “Lord,” “Jesus,” or anything of that relation out loud. That’s hard. But, through that… we’re learning more about the power in the name of Jesus.
We came into this month with a whole lot of “new.” New team, new continent, new culture. We came in wanting more. More of God. Whatever that looks like. God invited us into more this month. More of what His love looks like. More of what His plan includes. More of how he loves his sons and daughters. More of the spirit. More of the greatness of fellowship.
All I have to say is… it’s been crazy beautiful!
