Costa Rica…. I wish there were words that could describe how incredible this last month was. Reflecting over this past month, i’m just in awe. I’ve got to see first hand how God was moving, and it blows my mind! We are seeing that y’alls prayers back home for our squad are really being favored. THANK YOU!!
Christian Light Foundation
La Finka.
This is where we ministered last month, in the slums of Costa Rica in a town called Los Guido. The property is a little bigger than a soccer field. It’s got a church and the feeding center where kids from the area can come to get a hot meal for lunch. We got to tent it in the feeding center! It was awesome and we got some quality squad time in since we got locked inside at 5:30 every evening! 🙂
There is something very special about this property. Simply put, God has many many angels protecting it. In just that one month we were there, we witnessed the enemy try to steal that land. He tried taking it by setting the warehouse behind the property on fire, the warehouse shares a cement wall with the Finka. You could even feel the heat from inside the building.
But God intervened! The last day we spent at La finka we went out back to see what remained of the fire… see those palm trees?? They’re still there, and green as ever! The paint on the wall? Still like brand new! Now the REALLY cool part… what you can’t really see in this photo. There are vines growing up the cement wall… they are still alive and growing… and that tree off in the distance… it’s growing on the Finka side, but you can tell some of it’s branches are hanging over to the warehouse side. Directly from the cement wall, up, and on the warehouse side… those branches are burnt and black…but from the wall, up, and on the Finka side… the tree and branches are alive… and green!!!! You guys… there’s a reason the enemy attacks… and usually, he does so in defense of the coming of God’s Kingdom. Keep Christian Light Foundation in your guyses prayers, because that IS a place of hope for that community!

I sure miss all of you guys back home! I pray that God’s blessings, joy and favor overflow you in abundance this season! I’m excited to play with you and get coffee with you in 9 months!:)
