First of all – a big ole THANK YOU to anyone and everyone who has supported/donated already to my world race fund! The generosity of people continues to amaze me! Fundraising is such a hard and emotional process, more than most people realize. Asking people for money is awkward and uncomfortable in so many ways. But I’m trusting in Jehovah Jireh (The Lord who provides) to continue to be faithful in providing!!! Because as of today I am 13% funded!!!
I am working out some details for a few fundraising events throughout the upcoming months but my first deadline fastly approaching! I need to have $5,000 by July to attend our team’s training camp and $10,000 by October to leave so I need YOUR help! I want everyone to be apart of this journey to help bring love, hope and restoration to the ends of the Earth!
SO HERE WE GO:
1. ADOPT A DAY
Did you know that just $50 covers an entire day of expenses on the race?
In this fundraiser, I will be putting my world race days up for “adoption”. You can adopt one day on my World Race for $50, you can adopt two days for $100, etc. You can adopt a week for $350 or even a whole month for $1,400. After you donate, I will write your name on my calendar (that I will be bringing with me on the race) on the number of days that you have adopted.
Here is how this works: claim your jar (the specific country you want) and while it’s in your possession fill it with spare change, dollar bills, encouraging notes, or anything you’d like! Each Jar will be sold for $20 and will be labeled with the specific country you requested with some info I have about that country! You can put these jars at your business, pass it around at your church and workplace, or even just have it sitting somewhere you’ll see it everyday! Once your jar is full, you can return it to me and all the money in the jar will go directly toward my World Race fund. I’ll save all the encouraging notes in the jar to read for when I’m on the race and I need some extra love from y’ll here in the states. (I would like to have the jars collected by my first fundraising deadline in July)
