I am excited for the next few weeks of my fundraising! I am less than $1000 away from my first fundraising goal (thanks to all of those who have donated & supported me thus far!). I received an anonymous donation of $1,000 a week ago (THANK YOU!)-I almost fell out of my chair at work when I saw! My family has put together an outdoor fundraising event with games, raffles, and competitions to help raise money for my trip! We have gotten a lot of positive feedback and are expecting quite a few people to show up. I will be taking pictures at the event and posting them so those of you who cannot make it can still be a part of the event.
I also made a post on Facebook offering my dog training services in exchange for donations. So far SEVEN families have contacted me interested in my help!
Overall I am overwhelmed with gratitude for those of you who are being so supportive both with prayer and financial support! My training camp is about five weeks away and I am excited to meet the people I will be sharing this amazing experience with. I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me but it will be worth it. Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers!
