I am NOT coming home.

As the final fundraising deadline for the World Race approaches on March 1st, so many of my fellow racers title there blogs "I am coming home" and then explain how this is what will happen IF they do not meet their fundraising deadline. But you know know what…

I AM NOT COMING HOME.

I choose only to speak truth over my life. You see, I am a different person than the one who started this crazy adventure. I have realized who I am, whose I am, fallen in love countless times and have been taken to beautiful places I never imagined visiting.

The World Race has changed my life. As we are entering month six, I stand in awe of all that the Lord has done in and through me.

In Guatemala, the Lord showed me how broken I was, He showed me that my identity had been found in everything but Him. I fell in love with a little girl, Ana who gave a a bouquet of flowers on one of our first days there. I hiked a volcano and zip lined over beautiful lake Atitlan.

In Honduras. the Lord showed me that I was strong, He showed me that He created me to be a woman of Him and that He is with me ALWAYS. My heart was moved and I gave the jacket off my back to a woman named Rosa.  I swam in the coldest waterfall of my life and survived!

In Nicaragua, He showed me that I am a servant, but He also loves to spoil us. I lived on a beautiful island that I referred to as paradise and enjoyed the sound of crashing waves and panoramic sunsets. I was adopted by Yahieda who laughed, corrected and eventually commended my cooking skills. I embarked on a bike, hike and swim tour around Grenada and swam in the afternoons after ministry.

In the Philippines, the Lord showed me passion and patience. I was reminded that I have a love for party planning and discipling girls just younger than me. I learned that the Lord's love is universal and I can share it with everyone. I swam in the South China Sea and was able to speak in English!

In Thailand, I realized just how sovereign the Lord is. I realized that His plans are so extravagant and far greater than I could ever think of. He is persistent and waits for us always calling us back to Him. I realized that I am totally free to be me. I realized that in Him I am called, worthy, accepted and totally, unconditionally loved. I was romanced by my Creator and felt right at home with my roommate, host mom, and brother throwing mud around in the rice fields. I celebrated New Years by releasing a lantern, got to ride on the head of an elephant, visit Destiny Rescue, and swim in the Gulf of Thailand.

I have only been in Malaysia a few days, but i am already falling in love again!

The Lord is not done yet, in fact there is still so much more He wants to do. So many things He wants to teach me, to break me of, to grow me in, and so many people that He wants speak to through me, to hug using my arms, to help using my hands. He has called me to 11 months of this life. He has called me to the World Race.  There are people in Cambodia, in Kenya, in Rwanda that He is preparing for me to meet.

So you, prayer warriors, I need your help, please pray that the Lord would lavish His blessing and continue to fill up my supporrt account until completion. Pray that hearts would be moved in the states and abroad, Pray that above all, the Lord's will be done.

I also need financial partners to make the rest of this race possible. I need just over $1,700 in order to be fully funded and complete the World Race; will you continue to send me to the nations? I would be honored to go as your representative to bring Jesus to nations around the world.

So whether it be through prayer, financially or both, I ask you to partner with me. Join me on this journey around the globe. Join me as I learn more about myself, about Jesus, and this beautiful world He created.

if you feel led, you can donate financially and continue to partner with me on this journey or you can join me now and become a new partner on this adventure.

There are two ways to donate:
