As our time in Thailand was coming to a close our team got to soak in Chiang Mai for a few days after returning from the village. It was saturday night and a few of us decided to head out. We met up with this amazing woman of the Lord, Lindsey. We had met her the first day in Chiang Mai, but hadn't gotten to see her since! She was rocking a hippie band, side braid, and leggings so I knew we could be great friends! We all met up and sat down at Mike's Milkshakes to share shakes and fries (an attempt at the American Frosty and fries) as we chatted the night away.

It was like a coffee shop experience, except trade coffee for milkshakes, a muffin for french fries, Mike's instead of Starbucks, and bar street instead of Capital Blvd. Lindsey simply shared with us about her life; her passion for Thailand, for the girls in the bars, and for the Lord. I listened taking in every droplet of what she said. She was just overflowing with love and joy, and it was contagious!

Lindsey shared that she doesn't go to 'work' or have 'ministry time,' she simply lives her life. She lives a life totally in the Lord; she goes where He goes, says what He says and rest when necessary. She went on to explain that ministry isn't this long complicated thing; all she does is tell people who they are and whose they are. Everything that follows is simply the effect of people having the knowledge of those two things.

And that's when it clicked.

Coming on the Race, I have realized WHO I am and WHOSE I am.  I know that I am a beautiful, beloved, worthy, pursued, pure, accepted, redeemed, unique, adored, free, precious, chosen princess; a daughter to the King of Kings.

But I had been praying, asking God, Now what? I know who am I, but what about this trip I am on? Why did you bring me on it? What else do you want to teach me? How does who I am affect these people? Why are you taking me around the world to teach me about myself?

The words that Lindsey spoke was the Lord answering me loudly, directly and clearly.

I knew who I was, so all I had to do was share that with others. I just needed to tell people who they are and whose they are. We don't have to get bogged down trying to save or change or fix people. Just tell them who they are. That's all.

So to you sweet friend, dear family member, awesome acquaintance or cool stranger,

You are ROYALTY.
