For those of you who know me from Austin, Texas, or have ever met my litlle brother Hunter, you know that I was raised to bleed burnt orange. I think I was able to formulate the longhorn handsign before I even knew what it meant.

For those of you who know me from Boise, Idaho, you know that when I moved here I continued to bleed orange, just bright orange instead of burnt! Being a Boise State Bronco means that you wear orange because "real fans wear orange"

Well I am happy to announce that the tradition continues! It was announced last week that my team is the ORANGE!!!! "L" team!!!! So instead of bleeding orange, my hands have been dyed from making team t shirts!

So why did my team get a team color and letter?!? Because I am headed off to Training Camp (TC)! This friday night I am taking the redeye out of Boise and headed to Atlanta, Georgia!

What will I be going to TC?

  1. Meeting my already beloved teammates (aka roommates, best friends, hair stylist, and family for the next year)
  2. Experience a taste of all the different foods I will have the opportunity to consume over the next year. I have heard that at previous camps they have a different region/country food type per day.
  3. The rest of my time at camp? Well, to me it is still a mystery. The Race staff has purposely kept us in the dark so that we have minimal expectations and can let God do what he wants. All i know is what I have read from previous camps.

So please be praying for me this next week as I head to Georgia to sweat in the name of Jesus!

And wear ORANGE!!!
