Welcome to my World Race Blog!

Perhaps you are family, a friend, a fellow racer or maybe you just stumbled across this site. However you got here, I am incredibly excited to be sharing this adventure with you!

So how did I get here?
The Lord has placed a fire deep inside me to reach the unreached, To love the unloved, to feed the unfed, To travel to the ends of the earth for Him.
Four years ago, during my freshman year, I had a friend share about this “cool backpacking trip” he had heard about.  I went home and found out it was something much more than your average backpacking trip; it was an 11 month long mission trip around the globe! Over my next four years of college my road twisted and turned and it is only by His provision in my life that I am now preparing to leave in one month on the trip of a life time to bring His love to the world on this crazy trip called The World Race.

On the World Race, I will travel to 11 countries over 11 months; Guatemala, Honduras, El Nicaragua, the Phillipines, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, leaving in September 2012. My team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.  I am so excited to see how God will move in my life and in the lives of others in the coming year.

The fine print:
