Q squad is currently grounded in South Africa!

For the past 5 weeks, our logistics team has been working relentlessly on getting visas for India, which is where we will be headed in January, but they are still not done. We cannot cross the boarder into Swaziland until we get our passports back, so we’ve been here in Nelspruit, South Africa for a bit longer than planned.

After realizing that we were not going to be able to travel according to the original schedule, our squad got together to pray that God would give us opportunities to serve while we are still here and also a place to stay that wouldn’t continue to eat away at our lodging budgets. The day after we to lifted these things up in prayer, God answered miraculously! Tomorrow morning, my entire squad of 45 is graciously being taken in by a church who is allowing us to pitch tents on their campus, and join them in whatever ministry they have for us!

The Lord obviously has more things in store for us in the country of South Africa, and I also trust he will bring us to Swazi just in time for what he’s got planned there! God always has a very specific purpose for everything he does and his timing is always perfect, even if it is seems like a frustrating situation at first, it is often yet another opportunity to bring further glory to his name!!

Please keep our India visas in prayer!!! We are praying that our applications will be approved and that the process would be sped up so we can move on to all that he’s got for us in Swaziland!!

PS: Since we have been delayed, another huge blessing that came from it was getting to have coffee with the Grant’s, who is an incredible missionary family from my church back at home! It was an ENORMOUS blessing to get to see familiar faces, fellowship with them, and hear all about how the Lord is using them here in South Africa! God is so cool, that out of all of the places we could be, he led my squad just 45 minutes away from them!
