I've been at launch in Atlanta, Georgia for 2 days now!
It's been awesome so far! We've had some great sessions to prep us further for the incredible journey ahead of us, as well as wonderful bonding time as a squad and within our teams!
It's been so great to see how the the Lord is stretching me in so many different areas, and how he brings the exact people to me who are going through similar things right when I need encouragement. This afternoon I was feeling a little overwhelmed from everything that has been going on the past couple of days, and exactly as I was considering sneaking off to the side and calling my mom to cry and to unload on her instead of leaning on a fellow racer, ( 'cuz I'm a mamma's girl like that;)) the Lord sent one of my lovely sqaudmates over to me and she immediately expressed an insecurity that she was dealing with and it just so happened to be the exact thing that was on my heart as well. We got to talk through it and committed to praying for each other over it! I just love how God keeps binding our hearts closer together!! That was just such a huge encouragement to me and the Lord knew exactly what I needed. 🙂
So here's some things that we've been up to:
We've had some great sessions on The 5 essentials for the Race, finding our identity in Christ and not in others, evangelism and how to share your story, and of course a very thorough safety lesson from an undercover police officer who works overseas. These sessions have been so awesome and I feel more prepared after hearing the wisdom from these former world racers and others!
Also, big news:
WE LEAVE FOR THAILAND ON SUNDAY!!!!
Man, I am just SOOOO excited, pumped and ready to go!!
Can't wait to see how the Lord continues to transforms my life through this experience and how He uses us to bring glory to His name!! So excited to get out there and take the light of Jesus to the nations!

- That the Lord would help me in dealing with homesickness
- For the continuation of uniting our squad and teams
- Preparing for departure and for traveling mercies
- Fundraising and that I would continue to trust in Him to provide
