I had some of my most favorite memories on the race in Nicaragua with the kids down the road that have become our family, with our students that love, and love, and love, and with my new team that dances and dances and dances, but there are really no words to express the events of the past three months here. It felt like an eternity at times and an instant at the same time. Things were hard, and things were beautiful, but I just cannot seem to put a name on it all.
Blogs from my friends that were about that season and are really good:

A list of some of my favorite lessons I compiled over the course of our Nicaragua journey you can read. It was a growing season for sure:
When the lies seem louder than the truth remind yourself you are a daughter or son of God
We can endure the pain with the joy that He’s set before us.
Invite God in to use it for His good.
If it’s not good then it’s not finished.
Living in peace takes doing the things not because we want to but because we WILL to.
Be bold, but speak with grace.
If I am failing, I am learning.
If I am in Christ, I cannot be easily offended.
Joy is found in the breaking.
Trust him completely, he’ll always surpass our understanding.
We no longer claim defeat, we claim authority.
Forgive as many times as it takes.
In hard, trying environments hold fast to the one who entrusted you.
The best place to be is when you’ve reached the end of yourself. It’s the beginning of God and then it means you’ve given God the ability to move in you and His abundance is beyond this world.
You are fully known and still loved.
Believe in people before they deserve it.
