Part 1 En route to Dallas

It is crazy to think I have just boarded my first plane flight for the WORLD RACE, 38,000 feet in the air, and we are somewhere between 30-40 hours from being in Bangkok, Thailand, no big deal!

I drove into Atlanta, GA with my parents on Sunday. They went to sessions for parents, and I went to sessions where I was reunited with my squad. These were the hardest days so far since I had to say my final goodbyes and everything was starting to set in, however, instead of being a wreck emotionally, God gave me so much peace!

I am not for sure where exactly my team is going in Thailand. I am not for sure of many things. I am not sure what the days to come are going to look like as a racer. I am not sure of my teams’ ministry. I am not sure what kind of housing will be provided and I am not even sure what I am not sure of haha!

But, what I am for sure of is an incredible experience to grow in my faith. I am for sure of a God that is going to provide our every last need. I am for sure that my ministry is going to be exactly what God designed for my team. I am for sure that I have incredible support back home praying for my team and I. I am for sure God has prepared us for everything we may face and I am for sure God is going to open my eyes to so much more.

Part 2 En route to Qatar
The plane ride to Qatar was pretty awesome in my opinion. 14 hours sounds like a long time, but we saw 2 sunsets and 1 sunrise, it was like time traveling. I was so thankful to have a window seat! It kept me occupied and I took a lot of pictures (I hope you enjoy them on Facebook). We flew east over the Atlantic and up towards Greenland and then over the desert!

Part 3 En route to Bangkok
This flight was interesting since we decided to play charades to pass time (aisle seat dilemma) and we were all very delirious since we haven’t slept and have been traveling for over 30 hours. But, since then we have landed I have learned I love Thailand already! The transportation and culture is very fascinating to me since I have never seen anything like it! I do not know what to say other than part of my squad and I went to a night market last night and we ate chicken fried rice and it was good. Oh, and in the swamp in the backyard where I am staying today and tomorrow we saw a Komodo dragon.

Traveling is not done yet, the squad tomorrow will split into our teams and we will spread out all over Thailand to all of our ministries. So please still keep us in your prayers as we continue to travel.

For communication please email me for now, I would love to hear from you!
