Jesus, You continue to expand beyond any "boundaries" I set for You.
I thought today I needed a long drive with worship music playing.
But I felt this odd urging to turn on the popular radio station.
Was I being disobedient by turning off my praise music?
No.
Jesus had something else to show me.
"I Need Your Love" (feat. Ellie Goulding) by Calvin Harris was playing.
I've heard the song.
Many times.
I need your love,
I need your time,
When everything's wrong,
You make it right,
I feel so high,
I come alive,
I need to be free with you tonight,
I need YOUR love.
How could these lyrics NOT be about Jesus???
So full of passion, so full of love, so on fire for Him.
So there is my answer.
Jesus is in mainstream music.
He's everywhere.
And He refuses to be boxed in.
Don't even try it…
…He'll bust out!
Praise His presence that is everywhere and in everything.
