Exodus 14:14
“The Lord Himself will fight for you, just stay calm.”
The Lord Himself. Himself. Jesus is going to fight for me. The Holy Spirit is going to be filling me up and directing me through every battle.
GOD is going to fight for me. The all powerful, all loving God of the universe is going to fight for little Britta.
Forgive me for the repetition, but isn’t this CRAZY?
The One who no one is more powerful than wants to and will fight for me? And not just for me, for you. And for everyone who puts their hope and trust in Him.
For us it is a decision to be okay not making all of the plans, to be okay taking the passenger seat, and to be okay when God places us in temporary fog keeping us focused on Him instead of jumping ahead trying to do it on our own time or our own strength.
For Him, He is going to be 1, 2, 700 steps ahead, directing, planning, taking care, and fighting for each and every one of us. For our lives, for our souls. That’s how much God cares. That’s how much He loves us.
He tells us to just stay calm while He does it all.
WHAT?
My job is to breathe deep and trust Hum while He works everything together for good and keeps the enemy at bay?
Wow.
Thank you for that extraordinary promise and truth Lord.
May my life and all of your children’s lives reflect full-fledged belief and trust in that truth more and more each day.
