Each inhale we take, God's breath ripples over our blood like waves on the water. He tells us He is closer than our breath. Closer than our breath?? He is the anticipation before the breath. The thought before your body automatically knows to take a breath. The very air we take in to sustain us. He is all around us, within us. These truths I know and have known, but some days, the majesty and power and presence of God is nothing short of overwhelming. He connects the dots, He links hearts, He heals, He saves, He encourages, He LOVES. Us. Each and every one of us. Equally. And unmatchable-ly. If God is the waves, Jesus is the water, and the Holy Spirit is the current. Ever stop to think how the trinity is so in tune with nature? Or should I phrase it better-how nature is so in tune with the trinity? In our concrete jungles we lose touch with the natural beauty God has created all around us. Take a moment today. Find water, find a tree, find a blade of grass. Observe. Observe the creation and the Creator.
