August of 2014 God laid the World Race on my heart and I began seeking God’s direction about applying. March of 2015 I was accepted to go on the race and began lots of fundraising to take this journey with a group of awesome men and women of God. It is now January of 2016 and I am one hour away from launching to South Africa to begin a new season of life and I couldn’t be more excited!
Over the last year I have had some pretty amazing people contribute so much of their time, energy, funds, and prayers into making sure this race was possible for me and I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every person, penny, and prayer that was contributed. Without all of you guys listening to what the Lord laid on your heart and partnering with me to take the Good News, none of this would be possible. I began this journey praying that God would graciously bless me and provide every penny I would need for this trip. Not only did I raise $16,562 to actually go on the race, every item I needed for my trip was purchased for me from my registry (plus a few items), both rounds of shots were completely covered, and the money I had anticipated having in my account for spending money was by passed!!!
There will never be enough thank you’s in the world to show how thankful I am, but know you are loved and appreciated and I pray God’s richest blessings on each of you!!
