Thanks to all of you (my supporters); I’m excited to inform you that I am FULLY funded for the World Race!!!!!
When I started this journey, I was praying that I would be fully funded before I left. That meant raising $17,000 in about 4 months!! I had my doubts, but God has blown me away by providing that amount in such a short time! I cannot thank you enough for allowing me the opportunity to serve God’s people the way I will while on this trip.

These last few weeks have been bittersweet. It’s been a time of transition- leaving my job, moving back home and saying goodbyes (or see you laters) to many of you. You have shown me so much support, not just financially but through words of encouragement, prayers, helping me prepare for the trip (fixing my computer, helping me buy a camera/learning how to use it, running errands, etc.) and sending me off with going away parties! I wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you and I can’t thank you enough.
I’m leaving Thursday, January 7th and will be spending a few days in Atlanta, Georgia for training before heading to La Vega, Dominican Republic. My first month will be spent serving alongside the organization Global Effect. We will be distributing water filters, assisting with youth programs that are designed to minister, disciple, build, and grow the Christian community and also help start their new sustainable agricultural project.
