We boarded our boat and left Livingston yesterday afternoon.  While we were there we visited homes with the pastor…spent alot of time with the pastor and his family…attended a few church services…and a varity of other things.  This family is amazing!  They allowed us to stay in the church.

My ´home´is to the left with teh sandals 🙂

We attended a Tuesday night service that was held outdoors. It was pretty neat!

The church service was in thier local language…which is called
Kit Chi

This is me and the pastors daughter…The day before we left we traveled up the river with them basically to have a sight seeing day!  I thought it was fun as they showed off thier amazingly beautiful area to us.

This family has been feading us meals 3 times a day…and did not allow us to help with any of the expenses.  We asked if we could at least buy and cook them one meal and they agreed!  We woke up at 5:00 in the morning and cooked them an american feast! Pancakes…butter…syrup…eggs….coffee…juice…watermellon! It was so fun as we got to serve them as they have served us all week long!  They seemed to love the meal…but i´m pretty sure they weren´t used to all the sweet! (butter and syrup) 🙂

This is the family (minus another son who has moved away)
They have 7 children and a wife (to the left) of one of the sons. And the name of thier dog is ´gringo´. We thought that was hilarious!
This family is incredible! They are so full of joy.  Night after night I would drift off to sleep hearing thier laughter in the background…They laugh together all the time!

I was lucky to spend a week with them!
