This is the beautiful, wonderful Michelle…we were in the town square waiting to leave for the Volcano…I just wanted to brag…this was the first time I’ve had a warm shower in a few weeks, as well as electricity and a hair dryer!!! 🙂
It was truly incredible!!! And when I say that this video and these pictures don’t get even close to showing the astonishing views I saw last night! This was for sure the coolest things I’ve ever done! We hiked up about an hour and ½ straight up the volcano…pretty strenuous to say the least!
Almost all the way up we arrived at a lookout…So incredible! We were literally looking down at the clouds!
We climbed down and literally walked by hot spots…I would look down and see flowing lava underneath my feet! It still blows my mind! The volcano is highly active and is at about 8400 feet in elevation. The name of the volcano is:
Pacaya Volcano. Here are some pictures and a video of the adventure!
at the lookout…almost to the top of the Volcano…
and yes I am fully aware of how amazing my hair looks in this picture! 🙂
Right next to the lava…this spot was super hot!
Getting closer! 🙂
This picture was taken right as we were leaving to go back down the volcano.
And here is a video that my amazing friend Stacy made that i’m sure will be entertaining! 🙂 Love you all!
oh yeah and we are headed up North early in the morning to do some ministry…i’m not sure about internet there…but i’ll keep you updated whenever i can!
