I’ve decided to send out a support update once a month during the first week of every month.

This is a tremendous amount of support raising for the first month! A majority of it came in during the month of January. I’m so thankful for each of you that has made a one-time or monthly donation, is praying about making a donation, and those that have helped out in so many different ways!!!
Next week I have the opportunity to speak at a church in Waukegan. One of the families of my former students from Salem invited me to come and speak at their church Sunday morning. I’m really excited about this, as I’ve been praying about the opportunity to get the word out about the World Race!
I’m still working on the fundraising night at a local restaurant. It looks like it may end up happening in March, but hopefully I’ll know soon!
A few of you have asked about specific supplies, materials, etc. that I need. Here is a tentative list:
Backpackers Pack: A week long pack, Women’s, Extra small or small, front-loading panel, sleeping bag compartment
Two-Person Free Standing Tent
Thick Sleeping Pad
International Health Insurance
Round Trip ticket to Atlanta, GA, for training in July
One-way ticket to starting location in September, location TBA
Required Immunizations: I have most necessary Immunizations due to my past mission trips, but I will find out any others after I go to the doctor.
