I am Bridget Clare McNamara from Evergreen Park, Illinois. Evergreen Park is on the Southside of Chicago, which is the home of the Southside Irish, White Sox fans, etc….My (very Irish!) family consists of my mom (Mary), dad (Denis), older brother (Denny), twin sisters (Katie and Terri), and one other younger sister (Shannon). I also have one three year old niece named Bethany.

As I mentioned, I planned on teaching in a public school. However, each summer I had the opportunity to work in a variety of summer school programs at various Christian school on the southside. God slowly began to work in my heart and at some point I realized that I was called to Christian Education. I graduated from Taylor in 2007 and accepted a job teaching 3rd grade at Salem Christian School in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. I loved my time at Salem and thank God for my two years teaching in Chicago. Amy (4th), Natalia (2nd), and I (3rd) survived our first year of teaching together and I have a lot of crazy memories from two years of teaching with those girls! Most recently, I accepted a new job teaching 3rd grade at a Christian school in the western suburbs of Chicago.
