So here I am, just four weeks until launch!! This is truly a dream come true. There’s been few things I’ve wanted more in my life than to go on the World Race. I am so grateful for family that supports me, friends who have encouraged me, and for God who has transformed so many areas of my life. With a new donation coming in I will have raised over $11,500 for my World Race!! Thank you to everyone for all your support and encouragement!!
I am so excited for this mission trip and for what God is going to do in and through me. I signed up for the World Race to number one serve God and answer His calling on my life, but I am also going with a desire to be totally changed from the inside out. To let Him mold me into the man of God He wants me to be. This won’t be easy and I’m sure I’ll be stretched to the limits, but this is what I want. I’m committed to this journey all the way.
I’ve had some time to reflect on the importance of staying positive. What’s helped me stay positive is appreciating this life God has given me. Jay Moriarity, who famously surfed Mavericks at the age of 16, spoke about appreciating life in this 20 second video below.
One of the most important things in life is just really appreciating it. Jay Moriarity
