Thank you everyone for your financial support, it means the world to me! Given I don’t use Facebook or any other social media, this is and will be my main communication before and during the trip.
Having financially sponsored a World Racer in 2011 and 2012 with my overtime hours – a sizable investment if you ask me, considering it was over $3,500 – I did my research on the World Race, an organization of Adventures in Missions.
Take it for what it is but having invested in Apple shares in 2006 (prior to the iPhone launch) and having that be a stellar investment, I can honestly say my investment in the World Race / Adventures in Missions was by far the best investment I’ve ever made.
Here’s why:
- The return is eternal
- I got to read the racers’ blogs during the trip on how God was moving in their hearts and how my investment was furthering the Kingdom of God
- It feels amazing to give to someone in need
- A tax write-off is always good! (just sayn’!)
I know first-hand the importance of keeping my financial supporters, friends, family, and anyone else consistently updated during and before the mission trip. It is my desire to provide you with real and honest blog posts’. There will be months during the trip where I’ll rarely have internet access, possibly once a month, but I will strive to give all of you consistent updates.
