Why did I leave my finance career to become a missionary for 11 months on the World Race?
Because God told me to. It’s that simple.
I’m not concerned with the opinion of man. When God calls me to do something, I do it. I spent three weeks in prayer last summer on my decision to leave a promising career in the investment business and I have never in my life been so sure about anything than my calling to go on the World Race.
God’s ways are not my ways. He is the One who guides my life and I trust Him completely with my future.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:8-9
