WELL.
I have exciting news!
1st stop, ECUADOR!
Some of you who know me well are probably thinking, Ecuador, again?
Why yes, again it is!
That is the thing, this will be my 4th time in Ecuador doing missions.
It is the place that really first stole my heart.
The place where the Lord really first inserted the desire to do missions into my heart and cultivated it.
So the fact that I have been before and have the rare opportunity to go back once again is beautiful, but I know could be hazardous if I am not mindful.
One thing a racer on the field right now told me just the other day is "drop those expectations!"
And that is what I want to do, flush them right down the drain.
The last thing I want is for my heart and mind to be so dwelling on all I have done in Ecuador in the past, that I miss out on what God is doing NOW.
Of course, I will always remember and treasure those past experience in my heart, as I should. But my point is, I am asking the Lord to help me set those "preconceptions" or "expectations" aside for this time.

SO, all that to say, we found out today that we will be in the area of Carapungo, which is only about 30 min or so northeast of Quito (the capital if you didn't know that)!
The ministry we will be working with is Iglesia La Luz Carapungo, and we will be doing community outreach! We will also be teaming up with Team Agapetos during our time in Carapungo, HOORAY!
Please pray for Iglesia La Luz Carapungo now, for the hearts of the people we will meet, and for our hosts/contacts as well. We just want to be the hands and feet of Christ and take His heart with us everywhere we go.
Also, please pray for us as we approach the time we will all gather in Washington D.C. to launch on January 8th, as I wrap up things at home, pack up my pack, head to Passion 2013 in Atlanta, then head to D.C. to start this journey!
SO overhwhelmed at the goodness of our great and FAITHFUL God!
He has been so good and have provided everything I need, even meeting the deadline.
I know He will keep on providing 🙂
