I just finished a book of photography from my time in Japan and am so excited about it!
I've been working on this book for a while and just finished it tonight. I pulled twenty of my favorite photos from my time in Japan – a difficult task because I had so many great experiences and photo opportunities there. The ones that made the final cut into the book are ones that showcase the beauty of Japan: traditional and modern, all wrapped into one.
What's awesome about this book is that if you buy it, 100% of the profits go toward funding my World Race experience!
It only makes sense that my experience in Japan will help me be a part of the World Race. After all, Japan is where I learned to live abroad on my own, it's where I saw the beauty of Christianity in other cultures, it's where I went sightseeing by myself, armed with my camera and a limited knowledge of the local language. Japan is where I fell in love with the world.
To every man, in his acquaintance with a new art, there comes a moment when that which before was meaningless first lifts, as it were, one corner of the curtain that hides its mystery, and reveals, in a burst of delight which later and fuller understanding can hardly every equal, one glimpse of the indefinite possibilities within.
