Over the last 22 years, we’ve been through a lot.
Countless moments of joy, some you may have forgot.*
I’ve dug up some photos for the whole world to see,
To remind you of all our wonderful memories.
From the day you were born, those first few moments of bliss,
As I smiled real big and showed off “My New Sis.”

Countless hours of car rides through day and through night,

with scarcely a disagreement, and “never” a fight. Our friendship was untouchable, two birds of a feather,
wherever there was laughter, odds are we were together.

Everyone knew we had something special, they could feel it in their gut…
it was clear when they noticed we both had the same bowl haircut.
We went on countless adventures, we weren’t too picky
So many hours of romping with our imaginary horse “Stick-y.”
So much good fun, my laughter leaves me short of breath
Like that time you shanked me and challenged me to a duel to the death.
Or the time we joy rided the hot-wired RV,
and replaced “Pumba Pumba!” with the lyrics of “Stand by Me.”
I recall when you traded your allowance for a pocket of lint
How many times had I warned you to read the fine print
Or that month living in the cave, just sister and bro,
living off radioactive vitamins that made our skin glow
How you promised to stick by me, regardless of what I’d become
How you pleaded my case against moving me to the asylum.
There are so many moments I hold dear in my heart,
Those impromptu competitions of who had the best fart. (I surrender).
There where days when we looked incredibly hot,
And those less flattering times we wish we’d forgot.
I remember the graduations and honors you’ve received
and in your inevitable success, I’ve always believed.
As we spent countless hours pondering world peace,
And as our family expanded by a new brother and niece.
I’ll stay beside you, despite troubles untold.
You’ll always be my little sis’, no matter how old.
Even though I can’t be there on your special day, I’ll still be thinking of you from half a world away.
