Here is a brief recap of all 11 months and what we did…

Guatemala: We worked at a hospital with kids who had cerebral palsy, a nursing home with the elderly and a home for malnourished babies.

Honduras: We put on a summer camp at a school next to where we were living for kids ages 6-12 teaching them English and Bible stories.

Nicaragua: We were living on Ometempe island working living and working at an orphanage. We worked in the garden, helped cook meals, play with and teach the kids and helped out the owners in any way we could. This was also the month where I got baptized!!

Thailand: We ministered to a group of break dancers one night and a group of skate boarders the next and went back and forth everyday. This month was one of my favorites!!! We also performed as a team in a nation wide break dancing competition in front of hundreds of people!!!

Cambodia: We went to a few different villages spreading the Gospel and building relationships with the people who lived there. We also taught English at the church we were working with.

Vietnam: Our ministry was very spread out this month, but we mainly helped out at a coffee shop teaching English to college aged kids. We also went to an orphanage a few times. I got to share my testimony at a drug rehab center to a group of 20 men. We also went to a Bible school to help teach the students English as well.

Malaysia: This was our MANistry month in which all the men of the squad were separated from the women and did manual labor. ½ the month we worked with a Chinese missionary couple building them a prayer mountain and improving their grounds to better house future missionaries to come and stay. The second ½ of the month we worked with an Indian pastor building a wall to future house a church.
Kenya: One of my favorite months!!! We worked with a local pastor and were fully involved with his church. During the days we handed out flyers to bring people to church, also evangelizing and doing house visits. On Sunday we were fully involved with church and helped with worship, Sunday school and ushering. We also went to a disabled home for girls to help feed them and do laundry.

Uganda: We did door to door ministry this month. We went around to all of our neighbors, talking to them about the Gospel and asking if they would like to come to church. Everyday after going around, we held a Bible study under a mango tree to further discuss with anyone who was more interested to learn about Jesus. We also met up with some Americans and helped with their ministry which was working in a school, doing medical outreach and working with street children.
Tanzania: We again were doing door to door evangelism for a few days. We also went to 2 different orphanages to play with the kids. I really liked this month because of the family we stayed with. Most of my main ministry was with them and showing them love and becoming friends with them.

Malawi: We worked with my good friends Marie and Johan Mathee, a South African couple who now live in Malawi and who mentored me right after I accepted Christ. We were doing manual labor all month building a Bible school and chicken coop.
This year has been a crazy rollar coaster ride with Jesus!! You feel every emotion in the book, I promise!! But it was hands down the BEST year of my life and I can't explain it any different!! If you want to know what I felt this year…..your just going to have to do the World Race yourself!!!!
