Tanzania!! Month 10!! WOW!! This race is just flying by it feels like!! So month 10 is done and over with and I would love to tell you what we did.
We were again working with a local pastor, Pastor Celcus. He has a beautiful wife named Rachel, 2 older daughters named Victoria and Sifa and 3 sons named David, Godwin and Doxa. This family was the BEST part of my entire month!! I love them!! Pastor was kind of quiet and intimidating, but when he did talk he was really funny!! His boys were amazing! David, the oldest could dance like nobodies business!!! Godwin was 10 and could speak amazing English and was so smart!!! He was my best friend! And the youngest Doxa was 6 and the cutest thing I have ever seen!! He would come home from school and run up to me and give me a big hug, it made my day every time!!
For ministry we mostly did door to door evangelism, which isn’t my favorite, but I put my positive pants on did it, I had a smile on and I knew it was how the Lord wanted me to do ministry this month. We also went to 2 different orphanages and played with the kids. At 1 orphanage I taught a few boys how to pray….You may think it’s easy, but these boys were so frustrated that no one taught them how to, but they believed in God and wanted to have a better relationship with Him.
It was a good month. We had a lot of down time this month, so our team took that opportunity to grow with each other which was really good for us. This month was a good rest to give us a lot of energy for month 11!!!
