Hello world!!! I am so sorry I haven’t been in better contact, but for month 2 and 3 internet has been a twice a month thing. I am writing you all to ask for your help. As of right now, I am not going to be continuing on the race. I am in desperate need of financial support. I’ve posted it in a few blogs, but my next support deadline is in 3 weeks!!! If I do not raise $3,000 before January I will not be continuing on with the race.
I can’t thank everyone enough for everything that has been donated so far, but I still have a long ways to go to being fully funded. So, with that being said I am asking you if you can pray and find it in your hearts to help me in any way you can. If all you can do is pray for me, that is AMAZING!! I truly appreciate it, but with no more internet this month until my deadline, word of mouth, this blog, you all and prayer are the only way this can be done. Well the ONLY way it can be done is by God, but He’s doing through YOU!! So if you can, if you have 10 free minutes in the day, can you pop this blog in an email and send it to a couple people for me? Have it be a chain mail!! You send it to 20 people, and they have to send it to 20 people and so on!! Former racers, if you can repost this in one of your blogs and send it to your supporters who supported you on your race!? Or talk to your friends, neighbors, family and tell them a little about me and what I’m doing and ask if they could donate. If having a second collection at church is possible that would be amazing!! Posting this blog on your Facebook news feed everyday till my deadline is reached would be AMAZING!!! I know who you Facebook addicts are!! Can you take 2 seconds a day and repost this for me?
I know it’s around Christmas time and things are tough for a few families, but if you think about it, if it wasn’t for Jesus, the guy I’m trying to tell people about, there wouldn’t be a Christmas at all.
I know that this is what I’m suppose to be doing with my life!! I can not go home and be a waiter again (NOT that there is anything wrong with being a waiter!! I was one for years!!) But it didn’t make me happy. THIS makes me happy, THIS is what God has called my to, THIS is my profession. I’m not a doctor, I’m not a lawyer, I’m not a construction worker,
I’M A MISSIONARY!!!
And I LOVE my job!! But I can’t do it alone, and I never want to. I want to go through this trip WITH you. If you have any questions, comments, anything, email me.
