MY FIRST BLOG!!!
So, I have no earthly idea how to blog, but I’m going to do it anyway. Many of you know I am going on The World Race this year and part of being a racer is… you guessed it, blogging. I’m not going to lie; I’ve been pretty nervous about writing this blog. I feel like it’s hard for me to lay out all my thoughts on the computer screen. Reading all of the posts from current racers and my squad mates made me feel kind of intimidated. But that’s what a blog is, its about MY thoughts, feelings, and adventures and what the Lord puts on MY heart to share.
So why subscribe to my blog you ask?
I want you to be a part of this journey with me every step of the way. Here you will be able to follow my squad mates and me as we travel the world, share God’s redeeming and beautiful love, and serve as His hands and feet. I want you to know the miracles I witness and how God is radically changing the lives around me and mine. I want to share my hardships with you as well as my blessings. Most of all, I hope you will see a change in me as time progresses. I pray that God will captivate my heart and I will feel His presence in my life like I never have before.
I am beyond excited that God has called me to be a part of the World Race! I know I have so much preparing to do mentally and physically for this amazing adventure. The only thing I can do is lean on God because I can’t do this on my own. The number one thing you can do for me is PRAY. Pray for my fundraising, teammates, spiritual growth, family, safety and every angle of this crazy ride I’m about to embark on.
