I AM FULLY FUNDED!!! PRAISE JESUS, AND A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!!

Where do I begin??? Honestly.. I am at a lose for words!

When God called me to the World Race I was beyond excited! It was something I never would have thought I would do, but something in the back of my mind I always desired. When I finally surrendered my life to Christ, I have felt a burning desire to go and change the world. I had no idea what that would be, or what it would look like, but I just knew I had to go.

My journey leading up to the Race was short, but sweet. I got my acceptance a month to the day before I had to be at training camp; which also meant a month before my first financial deadline. Of course I was excited, happy, and even a little worried or stressed, but God provided in such a huge way.

As a matter of fact, God provided in huge ways for all four of my financial deadlines. He continued to show me that no matter what I did, it was not me raising this money, but Him. He called me to serve Him, and showed me over and over again how HE would be the one to provide a way to make that happen. And He has done it again!

My last financial deadline came after a month where I had the most limited internet access. I truly believe that was no coincidence. Every other deadline I wrote as many blogs as I could, uploaded as many pictures to facebook as I could, made videos, and whatever else, but last month I couldn’t.

I went into the month stressed and worried how I would fund-raise $2,000 in a month, but as soon as I arrived God gave me a peace about it. He told me to focus ALL my attention on Him, our relationship, and the amazing ministry He had for me for the month. That is exactly what I did.

And with that I can tell you God raised above and beyond the $2,000, and I get to finish out my last five months of ministry stress free, praising God for His goodness! Not only for His goodness, but the goodness of His church.

I never truly understand what church was suppose to look like. That is, until I joined my church back home. In the year I attended before I left He showed me that no matter how big a church is, you make it small by your involvement. I dove in to so many Bible studies and other activities, and was able to form amazing relationships with amazing people.

And then, as I went to them for support with my upcoming mission trip, they stood behind me 100% – in EVERY way possible. Every time I was there I would have complete strangers come up and say they would be praying for me, handing me checks for financial support, and amazing words of encouragement. And even more so now since I have left.

I have been able to learn so much about God, His goodness and faithfulness, what a true relationship with Him looks like, what it means to surrender everything to Him, and just what it means to love unconditionally. This journey is one I will never forget. One that I will tell stories of forever, and that is only possible by the love and support of all of you back home.

So.. from the bottom of my heart.. thank you. Those two small words don’t seem like enough, but they are all I have. That, and gratefulness that you believed in me and God’s calling for my life enough to give of what you have to someone like me.

Thank you. God bless you in unimaginable ways.

All my love -Bri
