I truly cannot even put into words how amazed, grateful, and blessed I am by all the support I have received. Not just financially, but prayerfully! All the great words of encouragement! People taking time out of their day to talk to me and give me advice.
In the past few days I have had the privilege to talk to my pastor's wife who also has a heart for mission, their son who has done many missions including international, and a World Race alumni. They are all so great, and have helped me in so many ways! They have opened my eyes, lifted me in prayer, given me advice and ideas of what to expect, but most of all… Peace of mind knowing that this is God's work, and if He is calling me I must answer!
On top of all of that, my church family has totally rallied behind me, and is doing everything possible to make sure that this trip happens! I feel so unworthy almost of all their kind words and support, but a dear friend graciously reminded me.. It's not about me, but about the Lord! How true! I am so grateful to be in a church where Christ is so alive in our member's hearts!
With that said.. I have done my best to get thank you cards to all my supporters (my mother taught me well), but there was one donation that was made online by an anonymous donor.. So I just had to take the time to say THANK YOU! May God bless you for your wonderful gift!
